Cuevas del Canelobre, stalactite cave
The Caves of Canelobre are one of the main tourist attractions not only of Busot but of the entire province of Alicante. Located at 700 meters above sea level on the northern slope of the Cabeçó D'Or mountains - one of the few Prebético Jurassic reliefs in the province - they are a great example of a karst cave. Inside the caves there is a space of more than 80,000 m2, accessed through a 45 meter long tunnel in which water and rocks have created impressive shapes such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns and jellyfish, among many others. This cavity develops in the Upper Jurassic limestones, which are 145 million years old. Although little is known about this cave until practically the nineteenth century, the discovery of this cave has been attributed to the Arabs in the tenth century.
Portman
The black beach of Playa del Lastre is difficult to find and the small fishing village of Portman is not particularly well known, but it is definitely worth a detour.
Directly at the stand is the restored fortress, the Bateria La Chapa and the lighthouse, from which you have a wonderful view of the sea.
Where does the black sand come from? Some suspect that it is volcanic rock, but it is more likely contamination from the mining of ore rock. Swimming is possible here without any problems. - But we recommend bathing shoes

LaUnion
La Union in Spain is a unique place for a special excursion. Here you can hike between old, abandoned mining facilities that are reminiscent of bygone times. The region offers a fascinating mix of industrial history and natural beauty. The mining facilities are a testament to past wealth and give the landscape an almost alien, surreal feel reminiscent of science fiction films.
